There are plenty of brokers focused on helping people build wealth for retirement, but not many who truly understand the needs of those already retired. We thought it was time someone did.
Kim has been helping Australians with reverse mortgages for more than 20 years. Having spent over three decades in the finance industry, she realised there was a real need for a service that combined experience with empathy. That’s how 808 Seniors Finance was born – from a place where advice comes with a cup of tea and clients are treated like family.
What makes us different
We’re not just brokers – we’re people of the same generation who get what life feels like after 60. Kim is in her late 60s herself and has navigated the same questions our clients face: How do I help my kids without depleting my savings? When is the right time to renovate? Can I afford to really enjoy retirement?
We take the time to listen, to explain things properly and to make sure every client is comfortable before making a decision. You won’t find suits or jargon here; just plain English, patience, and maybe a biscuit or two. While we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we take your peace of mind very seriously.

Kim Hubbard
Founder and Finance Specialist
Kim has worked in finance since 1989 and has specialised in reverse mortgages since 2005. She holds a Diploma in Financial Services and is a member of both the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and stays current with all industry regulations and consumer protections.
Kim brings warmth, humour and a lifetime of experience to every conversation. For Kim, success isn’t measured by loans written, but by the comfort and confidence her clients feel knowing she’s on their side.
Sam Parr
Personal Assistant and Broker
Sam has worked alongside Kim for more than three years and recently became a broker herself. She shares Kim’s values, ethics and love of helping people. Outside work, she enjoys time with her family – including her son Lucas and partner Andrew.
Sam is also family – her partner Andrew is Kim's son, and together they're raising Lucas. It's a true family business built on trust, not just transactions.
